The Life Binder - Blizzcon 2019

The fan art contest entry for BlizzCon 2019 art contest.

This is the artwork I did before building the costume itself since my deadline was really close and I was interested in entering both contests at the time. I did try to get really creative in giving Alexstrasza an anthro form and a staff "The Breath of Life."

Also built the staff as well, I will have to upload more photos of it here soon.

The costume.

I completed it in time for the 2019 BlizzCon Costume contest. I made it to the top 25 contestants on stage and was one of 5 in my group.

The costume had a good run on stage and I look forward to experimenting with other dragon costumes in the near future. I am still searching for photos and videos of it online. The head contained animatronics with eye blinking. The wings were animatronic with LEDs.

This is the first time I have made a fully foam fabricated dragon costume.
